Hi

I need this files to look into this:

the vmx-file
the vmsd-file
all vmdk - files smaller 10 kb
all vmware-.log files

and a directory listing that includes date and size of the files

hi please find the attached files for your perusal
you would see two sets
websvr01 is the working image
original XXXXx - is the working directory for vmware files where you have the latest files and snapshots
Attachments
Original Windows Server 2003 Exchange Standard Edition.rar

more highlight on the screup

original file was named as appsvr ever since we did a clone (full) it has new name or image called web svr
i dont see the original name for the diskimage it starts with
Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition-cl2-000003-cl1.vmdk

nad respective files are getting linked wiht this image

i cna see some snapshots on suspended mode i belevae this is because of the power filure

please help me to get 200 mb of db and store files

regards

Hi
your info is quite confusing.
Do I guess right that you want to recover the VM with
displayName = "WEBSVR01" ?

To recover data from that VM we need to know the contents of "E:\Backup VM FULLL WEBSVR" - please post the usual data from that directory too.

The vmdk Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition-cl2-000003-cl1.vmdk in the directory
D:\DATA Office Screw\02102010\WEBSVR01\ is incomplete - this files are missing

D:\DATA Office Screw\02102010\WEBSVR01\Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition-cl2-000003-cl1-s002.vmdk
D:\DATA Office Screw\02102010\WEBSVR01\Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition-cl2-000003-cl1-s003.vmdk
D:\DATA Office Screw\02102010\WEBSVR01\Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition-cl2-000003-cl1-s004.vmdk
D:\DATA Office Screw\02102010\WEBSVR01\Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition-cl2-000003-cl1-s005.vmdk
D:\DATA Office Screw\02102010\WEBSVR01\Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition-cl2-000003-cl1-s006.vmdk

I guess we would safe a lot of time if I can inspect the mess directly ...

Sandeep

reading your posts is no fun ...

If you ask for my help I expect at least a noticeable effort on your side as well.
